Is your busy Beaver:
- Excited about earning badges?
- Looking for a fun weekend or holiday activity?
- Keen to learn new skills and try new things?
If yes, then we recommend trying one or more of the following Beaver activity badges! We think they are great ones to try at home and out and about with friends and family.
Your Beaver Scout may already be on the road to completing, or may already have completed, some of the badges below.
Learning to read, ride a bicycle, swim. play musical instrument, or cook? We’d love to celebrate your young person’s efforts by awarding a Beaver activity badge.
Going on an adventure? Plan your trip with the Explore badge, earn the Hikes badge by walking for 2 or more hours, and even try out Snowsports or Paddle Sports while you are there.
Once your young person has completed the badge requirements they can share evidence (stories, photographs, artwork, baked goods, etc) with the Beaver Leaders and/or the whole Colony. You can also support your young person to share evidence by emailing the Beaver Leaders.
Beaver badges are awarded several times a term towards the end of a meeting during a Badge Ceremony.
