Stockbridge Scout Troop
Aged 10 ½ t- 14? Scouts is for you!
Scouts are the third section in the Scouting Movement. Our Scout Troop meets between 7:30pm and 9:00pm on a Friday evening.
Scouts enjoy a balanced programme, with a strong leadership structure, allowing young people to develop leadership skills, working as part of a close nit team.
At the 64th, the cubs have recently taken part in the Group Weekend Camp and the Pack Holiday in which the Cubs spent three nights away in the Borders.
When a cub turns 10 1/2 , they will move on to the Scout Section through a moving on ceremony.
What do Scouts do?
Scouts are at the age where they can experience the true adventure that scouting has to offer – from arts and crafts in the meeting place to jumping off cliffs, climbing, sailing, hiking, raft building and many more! We aim to give scouts a wide range of experiences so they can learn some new skills by accident along the way.
