Stockbridge Cub Pack

Aged 8 and 10 ½? Become a Cub Scout!

Cubs get the chance to try lots of different activities such as Games, Bedge Work, Sports and practical skills such as cooking, learning to build shelters, learn to work as part of a team and problem solving.

Cubs follow a Balanced Programme of activities which gives them to try new things, work with other people, explore the world around them and develop personal skills. Cubs get the chance to go on all sorts of outings, day activities and camping trips.

At the 64th, the cubs have recently taken part in the Group Weekend Camp and the Pack Holiday in which the Cubs spent three nights away in the Borders.

When a cub turns 10 1/2 , they will move on to the Scout Section through a moving on ceremony.

What do Cubs do?

Cubs do a wide range of activities, including the occasional camp.  Activities range from arts and crafts to climbing and abseiling to kayaking and sailing – we like to give the cubs an experience of the adventure that scouting has to offer!

Our programme is carefully planned according to the “Balanced Programme” philosophy that scouting promotes in order to provide a wide range of activities and experiences.
